Advanced configuration

Note:
The Conversion Value Manager is currently in open beta. If you want to create a more advanced configuration, contact support@adjust.com.

Use Adjust's Conversion Value Manager to measure your users' in-app behavior after install. Use a custom conversion value configuration to map events, ad revenue, and purchase data to custom conversion value ranges. This gives you greater insight into post-install behaviour and the opportunity to optimize on conversion values for your SKAdNetwork campaigns.

Once you have configured your conversion values, you can receive SKAdNetwork information from your network partners. Check out our SKAdNetwork partner integrations for information about working with network partners.

Here is what you need to know before you get started.

General settings

Once you have opened the Conversion Value Manager, you can configure your conversion values. At the top of the screen you can see the general settings that apply to your app. These include:

  • The app name.
  • The reporting currency for the app.
  • The conversion value window.
Note:
Changing the conversion value window in the Conversion Value Manager is not currently supported. Please change this in the iOS 14+ Settings menu on the Adjust Dashboard.

Conversion value ranges

Conversion value ranges are a powerful way to organize your conversion value mappings. They enable you to map your measurements to any conversion values in an order that works for you. When you receive your conversion value from SKAdNetwork, you can see exactly what measurement it maps to.

For each measurement you need to set a Start and End value. These represent the range of conversion values that the measurement will cover. You can configure a measurement to cover a single conversion value, a bespoke range, or all values available.

SKAdNetwork only returns a single conversion value per install and conversion values can only increase. Because of this, you need to set up your ranges in ascending order of importance. For example: if you set up an Ad Revenue range from 1-10 and an event from 20-20, you will only receive 20 if the event is triggered. Make sure to assign the measurements that matter most to your campaign to the highest ranges.

Measurements

The Conversion Value Manager supports three measurement types:

Events

Note:
Event mapping in the Conversion Value Manager is not currently supported for Facebook and TikTok campaigns. If you are working with Facebook or TikTok and want to use events, please contact support@adjust.com to configure your conversion values.

To measure events using the Conversion Value Manager, you can set up an Event range. This enables you to assign events to conversion values. Each event can only be assigned to a single conversion value.

To set up an Events range:

  1. Select Events in the Measurement dropdown menu.
  2. Select your Start value to set where you want to start your range.
  3. Select your End value to set where you want to end your range.
  4. Click the tick icon (✔) to confirm your range. This opens the Events panel.
  5. In the Events panel, search for your event by typing in its name or event token.

Select Events in the Measurement dropdown menu.
