SKAN 4 User Quality Analysis
The SKAN 4 user quality analysis widget supports your measurement on SKAdNetwork 4 by offering an evaluation of the total installs against the postback breakdown.
Use the user quality analysis widget
The user quality widget allows you to see your total installs as reported by SKAN, against a breakdown of the coarse CVs you receive from each postback.
- X axis: Postback number and coarse conversion value range
- In SKAN 4 there are 3 postbacks that are sent, and coarse conversion values can have the following values:
low
,medium
, andhigh
. The meaning of each value is determined by the condition that you mapped to it in Conversion Hub. Each coarse value is presented as its own column on the X axis, grouped under the postback number it's sent from.

- Y axis: Coarse conversion value count
- The count of SKAN postbacks where the coarse conversion value is either

Check your user journey
The coarse conversion value is the common attribute that's available across all 3 postbacks. Using SKAN's reporting of this value, the widget presents a view into your user journey. By looking at the distribution of the coarse conversion value, you can see whether your users are reaching the actions or events that you mapped to different measurement windows.
What to look for
Postback 1:
- Since you can also receive fine conversion values in postback 1, you can expect to always have fewer coarse values in P1, compared to postbacks 2 and 3.
- If there’s a very small count of
medium
andhigh
coarse value ranges, its a sign that users are not performing the mapped action within that first measurement window.
Postbacks 2 and 3:
- In postbacks 2 and 3, the
low
range is not automatically tied to a session. If you want to get insight into retention, we recommend you use this mapping. - If you do not see a high count of
low
coarse value ranges, it means that users are not performing the mapped action for this. In this case, you need to reconsider your mapping choice.
