Settings sharing with partners
To improve the reliability of settings-sharing with partners, Adjust uses an automated mechanism for supported integrated module partners, including SANs. This helps partners validate campaign configuration issues before launch, reducing setup errors and supporting campaign performance.
Where supported by a partner, Adjust will securely communicate applicable configuration details. The exact information shared may vary by integration.
Settings sharing
Adjust securely communicates selected attribution setting information for apps where a supported partner is enabled. This allows partners to validate campaign settings before launch and helps reduce configuration-related issues.
Depending on the partner integration, this can include relevant attribution window settings, redownload attribution settings, linked event metadata (including event name, linked name, revenue sharing settings) as configured in Adjust.
In addition we may share certain event metadata, where relevant to the integration. In some cases, event metadata may include the original event name as configured in Adjust.
Why Adjust shares this information
Partners use attribution-related configuration details to confirm that campaign setups are configured as expected before launch. Sharing this information helps partners identify setup issues earlier and reduce the risk of misconfiguration. It also gives partners the context for the campaign optimization and targeting logic, which improves campaign performance after launch.
Where relevant to the integration, partners can also use event metadata to better interpret incoming events, especially when different event types might otherwise be treated as the same event.
