Session callbacks

Adjust servers trigger a session callback on every in-app session. We trigger a new session callback when a user opens the app after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Note:
Installs and reattributions are counted as sessions in the Adjust dashboard, but not in raw data exports.

Recommended placeholders

PlaceholderDescriptionExample
{last_session_time}Last session timestamp1522835836
{session_count}Number of sessions recorded by the current Adjust SDK34
{lifetime_session_count}Number of sessions recorded across a user's lifetime185
Note:
If placeholder data is not available, it will be dropped from the callback.

Other recommended placeholders

We also advise that you include the following placeholders in all callback URLs. These placeholders will ensure that you always receive basic information that you can use to identify the app, link, data point, and device to which the rest of your callback data belongs.
