Device rejections and engagement fraud
The Device rejections and Engagement fraud widgets allow you to monitor rejections based on two categories of advertising fraud and conversion rules.
- Device rejections. These rejections occur when there is no legitimate user engagement with an ad, download, or install. This category includes:
- SDK spoofing, fake installs, and emulated traffic. These anomalies are detected by features such as Adjust SDK Signature and Anonymous IP filtering.
- Device level Conversion Rules configured to attribute installs to Untrusted devices if the defined rules are not met.
- Engagement fraud. There is no legitimate user engagement with an ad, but there is a real user downloading and installing the app. The ad engagement is made on the user’s behalf without their knowledge. This category includes click spam and click injection, and is caught by Adjust's click spam solutions such as Distribution Modeling and the Click Injection filtering.
Growth solution:
This widget will be shown only if you have Fraud Prevention Suite or Conversion Rules features enabled.

The default view shows you the distribution of these rejections by date but does not automatically show the accepted installs. You can customize the view for both widgets based on your needs, for example filtering by:

- Campaign name.
