App settings
Follow these steps to manage your app across platforms and find useful app information.

App level settings

App level settings (All Settings > Show App Details) display your app token and most active Adjust SDK version.

View your app token

Your app token uniquely identifies your app within Adjust. You’ll need it when integrating the Adjust SDK into your app.

To view your app token, follow these steps.
  1. Find your app and select your app options caret (^)
  2. Select All Settings
  3. Select Show App Details (if app token is hidden)
To quickly copy your app token, select Copy (clipboard icon) located on the right-hand side.

View your app's most active SDK version

The Adjust SDK reports information back to our servers whenever users install, open, and engage with your app,. The “most active SDK version” refers to the version of the Adjust SDK that reported most of your app traffic during the past 24 hours.

To view your app’s current most active SDK version, follow these steps.
  1. Find your app and select your app options caret (^)
  2. Select All Settings
  3. Select Show App Details (if most active SDK version is hidden)
Note: The “most active SDK version” might not be the most current version of the Adjust SDK integrated into your app. This is because existing users must update your app on their device to update to the latest SDK version. If you have never updated the Adjust SDK integrated into your app, then the “most active SDK version” will be the current version of the Adjust SDK in your app.

App platform settings

App platform settings (All Settings > Platforms) let you set up your app for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, or Windows. You can also specify custom URLs to redirect users to third-party stores or alternative landing pages.

Set up a single-platform app in Adjust

If your app is only available on one platform, set up a single-platform app in Adjust. (You can add support for additional platforms anytime.)

To set up a single-platform app in Adjust, follow these steps.

  1. Find your app and select your app options caret (^)
  2. Select All Settings > Platforms
  3. Select the icon for your chosen platform
  4. If you don't see your app ID, enter it into the APP ID field
  5. Customize your setup for iOS or Android
  6. Optional: to redirect users to a third-party store or alternative landing page, select SHOW ADVANCED OPTIONS and enter the URL in the CUSTOM URL field
  7. Select SAVE
Well done! Your single-platform app setup is complete.

Set up a multi-platform app in Adjust

If your app is available on multiple platforms, you can set up a multi-platform app in Adjust. This lets you use the same Adjust app token, event tokens, and tracker tokens for every version of your app, and create tracker URLs that automatically redirect to the device's relevant app store.

To set up a multi-platform app in Adjust, follow these steps.
  1. Find your app and select your app options caret (^)
  2. Select All Settings > Platforms
  3. Select SHOW ADVANCED OPTIONS
  4. Slide the Multi-platform App toggle to ON
  5. The missing OS will now be highlighted
  6. Enter your app ID in the highlighted APP ID field
  7. Optional: to redirect users to a third-party store or alternative landing page, enter the URL in the CUSTOM URL field
  8. Optional: to set a default platform, click the platform icon and select SET AS DEFAULT PLATFORM. This is where Adjust will redirect users if we don't recognize the device OS and there's no fallback URL.
  9. Select SAVE
Well done! Your multi-platform app setup is complete.

Your app statistics will display data from all platforms under your multi-platform app. To separate platform data, use the Platforms filter (Filters > View by > Platforms).

Bundle ID (iOS)

This string uniquely identifies your app throughout the iOS system. You (or your developer) will have defined a bundle ID before App Store submission.

Here are two ways to find your bundle ID:

  • In iTunes Connect, select My Apps and select your app. Your bundle ID will appear below General Information.
  • Take your iTunes URL, isolate the numeric iTunes ID (e.g., 1234567890), copy and paste it onto the end of this URL (https://itunes.apple.com/lookup?id=) in your browser's address bar, and open and search the resulting download for bundleId

Custom URLs

A custom URL overrides the default tracker redirect to your app’s in-store location. When you add a custom URL, all tracked clicks (for the platform(s) you have set up) will redirect to that designated location.

You can set different custom URLs for each platform (e.g., one for iOS and another for Android). Custom URLs are an app level setting, so if you only want some trackers to redirect to custom URLs, add a redirect parameter to your tracker instead.
