With the Adjust Testing Console you can see test device data in the Adjust Dashboard. This lets you know what is being tracked by Adjust. Enter your advertising ID to review attribution data and check event activity. You can also "forget" your device. This clears your device data from Adjust, letting you run tests on the same device multiple times.
To let Adjust attribute by device matching, append your advertising ID to the corresponding Adjust parameter in your tracker URL. If you do not, make sure that probabilistic modeling is turned ON.
When you request to view your device data, you can see the following fields. Expand the rows to see their available values and what they mean.

Adjust tracks an install as the first app open from an unrecognized device. This means an install can only occur once per device.
To test install or unique event tracking on the same device multiple times, you need to clear it from Adjust. This removes its advertising ID and activity history. In the Testing Console, this is the Forget Device function.
Forget Device clears your device on a per-app basis. This means you clear your device of all its previously tracked activity for your app.
To clear your device from Adjust, first delete your app from the test device. Then, follow these steps.
In the Adjust dashboard
Navigate to your app and select your app overview caret (^)
What advertising IDs are compatible with the Testing Console?
The Adjust Testing Console can be used with the following advertising IDs:
IDFA (iOS)
IDFV (iOS)
ADID
Google Advertising ID (Android)
Android ID (Android)
IMEI
OAID
Windows Advertising ID (Windows)
Fire Advertising ID (Kindle)
Where can I find my advertising ID?
On iPhones and iPads, you can find your advertising ID with the Adjust Insights app for iOS. Download the app from the Apple App Store and open it to see your IDFA. You can select your IDFA to copy it to your clipboard or share it via the icon at the top right.
On Android devices, you can find your advertising ID with the Adjust Insights app. Download the app and open it. You can select your Google advertising identifier or Android identifier to copy it to your clipboard, or send it via email.
Testing attribution
When testing attribution, you must wait at least 60 seconds between clicking the same tracker.
If you repeatedly click an Adjust tracker within one minute, we identify this as click spamming and reject the click.
Testing reattribution
When testing reattribution, wait at least 30 minutes between installing and reopening your app. This does not apply if you have configured your app for instant reattribution.
Testing event tracking
In-app events are only tracked following an app install. If you clear your device between tests, reinstall your app before triggering an in-app event.
Testing with Facebook or Twitter campaign data
If you view data from a Facebook or Twitter campaign, check whether you have signed the necessary T&C agreements. If you have not, the Testing Console will display a placeholder tracker name and token.
For Facebook campaigns, your tracker token will always display as fbinst and the tracker name as Facebook Installs.
For Twitter campaigns, your tracker token will display as twinst and the tracker name as Twitter Installs.
Testing subscription tracking
Even if Adjust did not track an install on a device, you can still see the details of tracked subscription events.
