User permissions

With different permission levels, you can customize the apps, campaigns, trackers, and keywords your users can see, and decide which features in your Adjust dashboard they can use.

Here, you'll learn how to add and remove new users, and set their permissions across the dashboard.

Dashboard permission levels

Adjust supports four levels of user permissions. Custom users can be set with Editor or Reader access at the most granular levels. Use the menu to find out more about each permission level.

Add a user to your dashboard

Only Admins can add new users to an Adjust account.

Admin, Editor, and Reader users

To add a new Admin, Editor, or Reader, follow these steps:

  1. Select MENU to open the main navbar (on the left-hand side) > My Account.
  2. Select the Users tab.
  3. Select ADD USER.
  4. Enter the user's email address and role. Next, customize their feature access.
  5. Select CREATE.

Custom users

To add a new user with Custom access, follow these steps:

  1. Select MENU to open the main navbar (on the left-hand side) > My Account.
  2. Select the Users tab.
  3. Select ADD USER.
  4. Enter the appropriate email address, role (Custom), and feature access.
  5. Select App Access.
  6. Indivdiually select the apps you would like to give the user access to, and select the user’s permission level.
    • For Custom access, you can select which trackers the user can see.
  7. To further limit access to a specific keyword, select the caret to the right of the tracker you gave the user custom access to.
  8. Select LIMITED.
  9. Enter the keywords you would like to give the user access to.
  10. Select APPLY.

Remove users from your dashboard

Only Admins can remove users from an Adjust account.

To remove a user, follow these steps.

  1. Select MENU to open the main navbar (on the left-hand side) > My Account.
  2. Select the Users tab.
  3. Find the user and select the grey caret symbol.
  4. Select User details.
  5. Select DELETE USER and confirm your decision.
Note:
Adjust does not store historical user data. Once a user is deleted, we cannot restore their previous access settings.
