Performance trends

The Performance trends widget displays the performance of all cohorts over a specific period.

Your widget displays data from the following sources, by default:

Set up the Performance trends widget

Before you set up this widget, ensure that you have set the appropriate filters. For more information, see Set up your view.

The Performance trends widget displays the performance of all cohorts over a specific period. By default, you can see the cohort analysis for the Retention metric by Total value. You can also choose to analyze your cohorts for different metrics by the following dimensions:

  • Adgroup name
  • App
  • App store type
  • Campaign name
  • Country
  • Month of install
  • Channel
  • Total value
  • Week of install

Use the Metric dropdown to choose the metric for which you want to analyze your cohorts. Choose additional options for the metric, if applicable, and select Select Metric.

By default, the chart displays data for Day 1 for all cohorts. You can choose the exact Day, Week, or Month you want to visualize data for. To change the period for which you want to view data:

  • In the Period length dropdown, select Day, Week, or Month.
  • In the Period dropdown, select the cohort period.

Example: To view the cohort performance for Week 2 for the Retention metric, do the following:

  • In the Period length dropdown, select Week.
  • In the Period dropdown, select 2.

Select (Open as report) to view the data in the form of a new report.

Use the Performance trends widget

  • Hover over any data line in a chart to see more information about the data.
  • Hover over any title in the chart legend to highlight the data line in the chart that corresponds to that title.
  • Select the title in the chart legend to hide the data line for that title in the chart. Select the title again to reveal the data line.
